Farm Shop & home-made products
Animal husbandry that is appropriate to the species and respects the natural cycles reflects the core values of our nature-oriented mountain farm. We keep just as many animals as our meadows and pastures can host in terms of feed. Water and living spaces are heated with a low-emission wood chip system that is fired with wood from the property’s own forest. On our farm we grow vegetables, berries as well as aromatic herbs and transform them into precious, home-made products. The artisanal production of bacon and the baking of bread have a long tradition on the farm, which we continue to cultivate.

Meeting point: Farm Shop
Our farm shop is a popular meeting point, providing enjoyment and relaxation: Experience the sunset through the large glass fronts sipping a good glass of South Tyrolean wine. Make plans for your exciting vacation days in the mountains with information material, games, and books from our farm library.
Wrapped in a soft blanket, enjoy a cup of fragrant herbal tea after an extensive sauna session, while gaze wanders over the valley.
On the gourmet shelf we serve delicious home-made products, such as flower and fruit juices, hearty bacon, fresh eggs, forest honey, seasonal vegetables, and various aromatic herbs from the farm garden.
Everyday life becomes a distant memory, and the longed-for holiday mood sets in!
Historic farm Vöstlhof
Once upon a time…
We offer a weekly guided farm tour: The historic farm Vöstlhof was first mentioned in documents in 1142. The original panelled farmhouse parlours, ancient walls, typical tiled stoves with stove beds, grandma’s stove in the vaulted kitchen and a rustic bacon cellar are impressive witnesses from times long past. We will be happy to offer you an insight into the artisanal production of our hearty bacon, which matures in the ancient bacon cellar.
